Statement from Attorney General Jepsen on Appeal
of Second Circuit Decision in SEBAC Case
Attorney General George Jepsen today issued the following statement on the decision to appeal the ruling from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in State Employees Bargaining Agent Coalition v. Rowland:
“After careful consideration, I have decided to seek review of the Second Circuit’s decision by the U.S. Supreme Court in light of the potentially significant fiscal consequences for Connecticut taxpayers.”
