The Ottilie W. Lundgren Memorial Field Hospital
At any time, Connecticut could be faced with a man-made or natural disaster that results in an overwhelming number of sick or injured people. Named in 2006 in honor of a Connecticut woman who died from inhalational anthrax in 2001, the Ottilie W. Lundgren Memorial Field Hospital is a state-of-the-art 100-bed mobile field hospital designed to support the state’s health care system in response to such an emergency.
