Governor and Mrs. Malloy Announce Registration Now Open for Reimagining Justice Conference

Criminal Justice Conference to be Held in Hartford on June 14 and 15, 2017

(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Dannel P. Malloy and First Lady Cathy Malloy today announced that registration to attend the upcoming Reimagining Justice conference is now open. The symposium will be held in Hartford on June 14 and 15, 2017 and will feature nationally renowned criminal justice experts, policy leaders, and justice-involved advocates discussing best practices in criminal justice systems at the local, state, and federal levels.

Conference fees are $90.00 per person, including meals for the one and one-half day conference. Guests can register now by visiting the conference website at Limited opportunities to waive conference fees will be made available for certain individuals – more information will be announced soon.

As was previously announced, the keynote speaker on the first day of the conference will be former Senior Advisor to the President of the United States Valerie Jarrett. Other speakers will include a diverse group of leaders and experts from around the nation, including formerly incarcerated individuals, victims of crime, academics, business leaders, members of faith communities, Republican and Democratic lawmakers, and representatives of labor.A full program schedule and list of confirmed participants is anticipated to be announced in the coming days.
