What happens if my child is found to be positive for COVID-19 through the screening testing program?

Your child’s school, in coordination with the local health department, is responsible for identifying close contacts and informing students and parents. Close contacts identified by the school will need to quarantine for the length of time agreed upon by your school and local health department, in accordance with CDC guidance.
