Ashish Mohan
Lead Data Scientist, Covr Financial Technologies

Ashish is working as Lead Data Scientist with Covr Financial Technologies. He is a MBA graduate from University of Connecticut in financial risk management and business analytics. Prior to UCONN, he worked in infrastructure consulting and public policy space. He comes from India and have a bachelors in planning from SPA, India and MSc in environmental Planning from Norwegian Technical National University, Norway.

Eleanor Umaya
Legal A.I. Analyst, Infinilytics Inc.

Eleanor Umaya is currently working as a Legal A.I. Analyst at Infinilytics Inc., an insurtech startup based in California. She is an LL.M. Insurance Law graduate (`21) from the University of Connecticut School of Law. Eleanor is originally from Kenya and is a licensed advocate of the High Court of Kenya. Her interest to learn more about insurtech’s and their impact in the insurance industry led her to pursue two courses in insurtech to understand the approach and aspect that this new shift is taking. So far, she is able to use the skills from her educational and practical background as well as acquire new skills from the work she currently does.

Moderator – Laura Dinan Haber
Innovation Program Manager, Nassau Re/Imagine

Laura Dinan Haber is a creative strategist who partners with organizations to convene, craft, and construct opportunities that aid in driving collaboration and business interests. Currently, Laura is the program manager of Nassau re/imagine, Nassau financial group's insurtech incubator. Laura also serves as co-organizer of TEDx Hartford, is an active member of the CT tech council, university park, and reset boards of directors. she formally served as the vice president of the university of Hartford alumni board of directors. Laura is a proud university of Hartford alum, graduating summa cum laude.

Scott Kwon
Technology Development Program, Accenture

Scott Kwon graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2021 with a degree in Management Information Systems. During his senior year he was fortunate enough to participate in the CCEI Insurtech Initiative and work with Covr Financial Technologies. Scott is currently working at Accenture in their Technology Development Program.
