Michelle, a senior audit manager in the insurance practice, has over 11 years of public accounting experience. Michelle is responsible for managing audit engagements from planning to completion, including supervision and review of staff personnel, for various types of engagements. Michelle also pprovides consulting on various complex accounting matters and communication regarding current accounting and reporting standards to various clients, including Fortune 500 companies. Michelle has a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Hartford.

James M. Sheehan, Esq.
Senior Account Executive, Aon

James serves as a senior vice president and senior account executive in Aon’s Stamford, Connecticut, office. In this role, he is responsible for marshalling the resources of Aon to effectively manage our clients. He coordinates Aon’s delivery of traditional insurance placement services, policy administration, specialty consultancy services, claims preparation and advocacy services, and risk management services. He works closely with clients to identify exposures and design programs to retain or transfer risk to third parties. In addition, he is charged with keeping clients apprised of new products and changes in market conditions. James earned a Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude. He received his Bachelor of Arts in history from Providence College.

Shelly A. Sweatt
Vice President & General Counsel, TR Paul Inc.

Shelly is the General Counsel of TR Paul Inc. in Newtown, CT, as well as Vice President. Shelly is responsible for contract negotiations, compliance, and employment law issues. In addition, Shelly heads the sales and marketing of group and individual insurance products. Founded in 1947, TR Paul Inc. offers a comprehensive package of employee benefits and administration services. Shelly has been employed with TR Paul Inc. since 2002. Shelly earned her Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center and received her Bachelor of Arts in History from Hampton University.

Rocco Mancini
Vice President, Marsh Captive Solutions

Rocco Mancini is a consultant with Marsh’s Captive Advisory Group. Rocco assists clients in the U.S. and globally with the feasibility and organization of single parent captives, as well as risk retention groups and Rent-A-Captives. Rocco also participates in captive strategic reviews for clients that already have captives. Rocco joined Marsh Captive Solutions in 2015. He has successfully assisted clients with determining the feasibility of new captive programs and performing strategic reviews to optimize existing captive programs. Prior to joining Marsh, Rocco was a multinational pooling and captive analyst with MetLife, Inc.
