State Police Detectives Investigate Salem Pheasant Farm Fire
Salem, CT. (August 30, 2016): State Police Detectives from Eastern District Major Crime are investigating two separate fires that occurred at the Bordeau’s Pheasant Farm located at 343 Old Colchester Rd. in Salem.
On August 24, 2016 at approximately 1:50 p.m. and again on August 30, 2016 at approximately 2:50 p.m. fire crews responded to the Bordeau Pheasant Farm property for two separate fires. One of the structures on the now abandoned farm was destroyed.
The Salem Resident Trooper’s Office responded to the scene and initiated an investigation. State Police detectives from the Fire and Explosion Investigation Unit (FEIU) responded to the scene to assist in the investigation. State Police detectives from Eastern District Major Crime (EDMC) also responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
