UPDATE: State Police Detectives Investigate North Windham Burglary
North Windham, CT. (September 13, 2016): State Police detectives from Eastern District Major Crime are investigating a commercial burglary at Progressive Data Systems located at 148 Club Rd. in North Windham.
On September 12, 2016 at approximately 8:35 a.m. troopers from Troop K-Colchester responded to a reported burglary at Progressive Data Systems. Troopers responded to the scene, conducted an initial investigation and searched the area for possible suspects. Detectives from Eastern District Major Crime (EDMC) also responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
Several items were reported stolen during the burglary to include computers and several paintings by artist Christian Seidler.
Anyone who has, or thinks they may have, information regarding this burglary is asked to call EDMC detectives at 860-465-5400 or text TIP711 with the information to 274637. All calls will remain confidential.
UPDATE #1:
North Windham, CT. (September 14, 2016): Progressive Data Systems was burglarized over the weekend of September 11, 2016. Several Apple IMac computers were stolen, as were several antique clocks, paintings and a number of Christian Seidler artworks.
The Christian Seidler paintings are described as oil on canvas and very unique as they are comprised of thousands of raised dabs of oil paint. The series of “dabs” combine to create a textured work of art. Most of the paintings are large, 30x44 inches, and should be easily recognizable.
UPDATE #2:
North Windham, CT. (September 17, 2016): A $5,000.00 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect/s involved in the burglary at Progressive Data Systems. A piece of artwork by artist J.Kugler was also discovered to be one the items stolen.
