FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE August 16, 2011 |
On 08/13/11 at approximately 12:30 a.m. Connecticut State Police Troop H Hartford were notified that five (5) inmates who were being housed at Stillman Halfway House located
on 199 Retreat Avenue, Hartford, CT were missing from the facility. Troopers responded to the location and initiated a search for the inmate and a criminal investigation.
The immediate area was searched. Hartford and all surrounding police agencies werealso notified of the escape.
The following inmates are presently at large:
Hernandez, Omar DOB:7/1/76, H/M H: 5'4" W: 150 Eyes: Brown Hair: Black ##########IN CUSTODY#######
LKA: 29 Anawan Street, Hartford, CT
Orig Charges: Sale of Narcotics
HERNANDEZ was taken into custody without incident. He was remanded to the Department of Corrections and will be arraigned on escape charges.
THE REMAINING THREE ESCAPEES LISTED BELOW ARE STILL NOT IN CUSTODY.......
