UPDATE:

STATE POLICE MAKE ARREST FOR POMFRET DEATH

On 12-16-09 Detectives from the Eastern District Major Crime Squad initiated an investigation into the beating/stabbing death of Robin Cloutier (DOB 6-15-71) whose body was found by her father in her apartment located at 11 Wolf Den Drive in Pomfret, Connecticut.  

On 1-29-10, at 1009 hours, at Windham Superior Court, in Danielson, detectives from the Connecticut State Police Eastern District Major Crime Squad arrested Timothy Quail- (DOB 9-29-63) in connection with the 12-16-09 murder of his girlfriend Robin Cloutier. In an arrest warrant issued by the Windham Superior court Timothy Quail was charged with Murder and Larceny II and arraigned at Windham Superior Court in Danielson on this date and was held on a $3,000,000.00 bond until his next court appearance. Quail has been in the custody of the Department of Corrections since 12-30-09 where he was being held on unrelated charges.
