State Troopers Seek Public’s Assistance in T.V. Theft Investigation
On April 6, 2010 State Troopers from Troop E in Montville responded to a complaint of larceny of T.V. from the Wal-Mart Store located at 180 River Rd. in Lisbon, Ct.
Upon arrival the Troopers determined that the incident occurred inside the Wal-Mart store on April 5, 2010 at approximately 6:00 pm. Taken from the Wal-Mart store were two 32” Samsung Brand LCD HDTV’s, one 32” LG Brand LCD HDTV, and one 32” Philips Brand LCD HDTV.
The criminal investigation was initiated and Troopers did locate surveillance video footage and other investigative information in this case. Witnesses were able to provide specific details regarding this larceny
Troopers were able to obtain photos from security surveillance footage of possible suspects as they entered the store, and also obtained video footage of the suspect vehicle used.
The first suspect is described as a white male approximately thirties, 6'00” tall, 275 lbs, with a dark colored beard and hair, wearing a baseball hat, blue jeans, and a white tee shirt with a tan colored open button up style shirt over the tee shirt.
The second suspect is described as a white male in his thirties, about 6'00” tall, 165 lbs with dark hair wearing a baseball hat, blue jeans, and a tan colored sweatshirt. Both suspects were seen exiting the store with the TV’s and entering a gray minivan type vehicle operated by a white female with shoulder length, blond, curly hair. The vehicle did not display any registration plates.
The State Police investigation into this theft is continuing. Troopers have developed some details and leads in this case. Troopers are asking anyone who may have seen the suspects or vehicle in the area of Wal-Mart or anyone who may recognize the suspects, the vehicle, or who has information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the Connecticut State Police Troop E in Montville at (860)848-2500 or Text a Tip.
