State Troopers from the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit conducted an intensive child pornography investigation which resulted in the issuance of an arrest warrant for the accused, Manuel Sczygiel.

The accused attempted to purchase access to child pornography websites.  Through investigative efforts, state troopers located 46 images of child pornography on the computer belonging to the accused.

On March 31, 2010 the accused turned himself in, to Troop L- Litchfield.
