STATE POLICE MAKE NARCOTICS ARREST
On Friday July 30, 2010, the State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force East and South Central Field Offices conducted an extensive narcotics investigation into a narcotics trafficking organization. The Statewide Narcotics Task Force is comprised of State Police Narcotics Detectives and Officers from the following Police Departments: Groton City, Willimantic, New Haven, Orange, Woodbridge, Cheshire and New London
This investigation revealed that a large shipment of heroin was being delivered to the Fairfield area. This narcotics investigation led to the arrest of two individuals, and the seizure of 4,000 bags of heroin with an approximate weight of 1.44 Kilograms, two vehicles, and $575 cash.
