UPDATE: STATE POLICE IDENTIFY HUMAN REMAINS FOUND IN SOUTHBURY
The Connecticut State Police and Southbury Resident State Trooper’s Office received a complaint reporting a missing person from the Town of Southbury.
The missing person, MICHAEL J. WEAVING, was last seen in the area of Flood Bridge Rd in Southbury in the late afternoon of Thursday, 3/18/10.
MICHAEL WEAVING is described as a white male, 24 years of age, 5’ 8”, 130 lbs, red hair, red goatee, and brown eyes. His photo is displayed below.
Michael was last seen wearing khaki colored pants, t-shirt or hooded sweatshirt and sneakers.
******UPDATE******
On 03/30/2010 the Connecticut State Police have positively identified the human remains found in Southbury on Saturday March 27,2010.
The human remains were positively identified as Southbury missing person Michael Weaving. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that Weaving died of blunt force trauma.
Western District Major Crime Squad is continuing to investigate.
