STATEWIDE NARCOTICS TASK FORCE MAKES ARRESTS IN NEW HAVEN

   On August 25, 2010, the Statewide Narcotics Task Force, South Central Field Office, targeted several individuals responsible for dealing Heroin within the City of New Haven.

   The Statewide Narcotics Task Force is comprised of State Police Detectives, as well as Officers from New Haven, Orange, Woodbridge, and Cheshire. Their investigations revealed large quantities of heroin were being dealt throughout the City of New Haven. These investigations led to the arrest of three individuals, as well the seizure of 700 bags of heroin, 26.8 grams of raw heroin with a total approximate weight of .276 kilogram (more than ¼ Kilo) and $869 in cash. The street value of the heroin is estimated at more than $10,000.

Siegfried Carmon (DOB:04/09/63) of 263 Norton Street in New Haven

The accused was arrested and charged with the following:
