RE: Trooper First Class Kenneth Hall - Line of Duty Death

   The Connecticut State Police regrets to announce the in-line of duty death of Trooper First Class Kenneth Hall.  TFC Hall was assigned to the CSP Traffic Services Unit at the time of his death.  Trooper Hall was killed when a motorist struck his cruiser on the afternoon of September 2, 2010, on Interstate-91 in the Town of Enfield.

   The wake for TFC HALL will be held from 1300- 2000 hours on Thursday, September 9, 2010, at the CARMON FUNERAL HOME located at 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor, CT.

Directions to Funeral Home:

From Hartford, take I-91 to exit #37. At end of ramp turn left; the funeral home is one mile on left.

From Springfield, take I-91 s/b to exit #37.  At the end of the ramp, turn right; funeral home is one mile on left.

TFC KENNETH HALL funeral will be held on Friday, September 10, 2010. at the State Armory located at 360 Broad Street, Hartford, CT.   Due to limited parking, all Police personnel attending the funeral are asked to car pool and to meet at the staging area THE COMCAST THEATER located at 61 Savitt Way, Hartford, CT.  All Police personnel and motorcycle details are asked to meet at the COMCAST Theater at 0700 hours.

Directions to Comcast Theater:

From east, Boston: I-84 west to exit #50, Main Street. At end of ramp, take right onto Market Street; theater is one mile on left.

From south, Stamford/NY: I-95 north at exit #48 merge onto I-91 north to exit # 32b, Trumbull Street.  At end of ramp, take right onto Market Street.

From north Springfield: I-91 south exit #33 Jennings Rd. end of ramp turn right at first light turn left onto Weston St. theater is one mile on right.

From west Danbury: I-84 east to exit # 51 onto I-91 north exit # 33, Jennings Road.  At end of ramp, turn left. At first light, turn left onto Weston Street; theater is one mile on right.

RETIREES ARE ASKED TO WEAR BADGE ON LAPEL COVERED WITH MOURNING BAND AND MUSTER AT COMCAST TO STAND WITH ALL CSP PERSONNEL AT FUNERAL.
