   Hartford Superior Court GA-14 on March 3rd 2009 @ 0900hours

On 2/18/09 the State Police Central District Major Crime Squad served an arrest warrant on the accused after an investigation into an allegation that fraudulent documents were submitted to the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection in an attempt to obtain an occupational license.

The Department of Consumer Protection reported to State Police that on 12/04/2008 the accused had submitted what appeared to be a forged score-sheet and a $75.00 licensing fee to Consumer Protection in order to obtain an electricians license.  A criminal investigation was initiated by State Police Detectives into this incident.

State Police Detectives examined the documents and obtained investigative information that determined that the accused had bribed an examination proctor, who in turn issued him a fraudulent passing score-sheet. The exam proctor was employed by a private company which had been contracted by the state of Connecticut to administer exams.

State Police Detectives submitted an arrest warrant application to Superior Court for the arrest of the accused. The warrant was issued and today, shortly after 3:00 p.m., the accused turned himself into State Police Detectives at Troop H in Hartford.

The accused was taken into custody, was processed and released on a $5,000 bond. The accused will appear in Superior Court GA #14 on 03/02/09 to answer these charges.
