State Police Make Arrest in Death of Child

STATE POLICE MAKE ARREST IN DEATH OF CHILD
On Monday, 11/19/07, at approximately 11:45 a.m., State Police Troop-F was contacted by medical personnel and received a report of a suspicious death of a three-year-old child. The report indicated that the child had been transported from a private residence
State Police Detectives initial investigation revealed that the child’s mother, Sarah Slyter of 40 Ether Acre Lisbon, CT, and her boyfriend, the accused, had transported the injured child from the Old Lyme residence to the Shoreline Clinic in Essex State Police Detectives conducted interviews of witnesses and obtained a search and seizure warrant from Superior Court to conduct a search of the residence located at 67 Hillcrest Road in Old Lyme. Detectives were searching for physical and forensic evidence in this investigation. Information and evidence discovered by State Police Detectives resulted in the accused being taken into custody by State Police and placed under arrest.
ARRESTED: SADOSKY, Craig DOB: 2/2/72
CHARGES: Assault 1st Degree and Risk of Injury to a Minor.
Accused SADOSKY was processed and held at Troop F in Westbrook. He is presently being held on a one million dollar bond to be arraigned at the New London Superior Court on 11/20/07.
The Office of the
State Police will continue this investigation and anticipate that additional/upgraded charges may be lodged in this case.
