TELEPHONE BOMB THREAT MADE TO
STATE POLICE MAKE 2 ARRESTS
On Tuesday August 28th, 2007 at 8:53 a.m. a telephone bomb threat was made where the caller reported a bomb threat at the court house in
State Police Troopers notified the Judicial Marshals at the courthouse in
The court house was evacuated and a search of the building and premises was conducted by State Police personnel assisted by the Judicial Marshals.
State Troopers from Troop K developed investigative information in regards to the origin of the call and the identity of the caller. Based on that information Troopers located a suspect car and conducted a motor stop on of a suspect vehicle.
As a result of the on scene investigation at that motor vehicle stop one subject was taken into custody and a second subject was taken into custody at another location a short time later.
ARRESTED: 1.
2. LINEBERRY, Charles, age 37, d.o.b.04/04/1970
The accused were both charged with the following crimes: Breach of Peace, Falsely Reporting an Incident 1st Degree, Threatening 1st Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Breach of Peace, Conspiracy to Commit Falsely Reporting an Incident 1st Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Threatening in the 1st Degree.
Both subjects were taken G.A 21 for arraignment in the afternoon.
Subsequently at 10:39 a.m., a second bomb threat was made at the court via a telephone call. That incident remains under investigation.
