3rd ARREST MADE IN SHOOTING INCIDENT

AT WALMART IN PUTNAM

As a result of the post arrest investigation of the subjects involved in a shooting incident at the Wal-Mart Store in Putnam CT that occurred on November 17, 2006, a third suspect was developed and arrested.

Connecticut State Police Detectives from the Eastern District Major Crime Squad had developed and pursued additional information in regards to an additional subject being involved in the shooting after the arrest of two subjects on November 28, 2006. The Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for this third subject and began a search for the subject with the assistance of the Massachusetts Law Enforcement Authorities.

This third suspect was arrested, on 11/30/2006 in Webster, MA by the Massachusetts State Police, as a Fugitive from Justice based on the arrest warrant for him in Connecticut. The subject was presented in Dudley District Court on 12/01/2006 as a Fugitive from Justice where he waived his extradition back to the State of Connecticut. Connecticut State Police Detectives took custody of the subject and transported him back to Connecticut.

                     Threatening

                     Larceny 2^nd Degree

                     Unlawful Discharge of Firearm
