                     STATE POLICE MAKE CRIMINAL IMPERSONATION ARREST

State Police Central District Major Crime Squad Detectives conducted a criminal investigation after receiving a complaint from the Department of Motor Vehicles that the accused had obtained a driver’s license in his brother’s name. The State Police criminal investigation resulted in an application being submitted to Superior Court for an arrest warrant for the accused in this case.

The accused was arrested without incident on a warrant issued by the New Britain Superior Court at GA 15. He was transported to Troop H Hartford where he was processed.  The accused was held on a $15,000 dollar bond and is to be arraigned in the GA 15 Superior Court on October 19, 2006 at 9:00 AM. 

The accused was remanded to custody by order issued by the Department of Corrections, Parole Division.
