EXPLOSIVE and NARCOTIC DETECTION
K-9 TEAMS GRADUATION

Time: 10:00 a.m.
The Connecticut State Police Canine Training Unit announces the Graduation Ceremony of the 124th Explosive/Narcotic Detection Canine Training Troop, to be held this Friday- July 28th, 2006 at 10:00 A.M..
This graduation will mark the culmination of the 11 week training course which began on May 14th, 2006 for 4 teams (Troopers/Officers and canine).
These teams received specialized training in explosive or narcotics recognition in the areas of mass transit, vehicles, infrastructures, persons, etc.
All graduates with assigned K-9’s will appear on stage during this graduation ceremony. Each team will receive a certificate of completion from the
Graduates and their assignments:
· from the
Trooper Steven CH
Trooper Brendan REA and K-9 “BANJO”from Troop K,
· from the
Trooper Eric GAHAGAN and K-9 “JULIE” from Fire and Explosive Unit
· from the Yale University Police Department (Explosive Detection K-9)
Officer Charles HEBRON and K-9 “ELI”
Several VIP’s will be in attendance to include Comm. Boyle of the Department of Public Safety, and several members of the Command Staffs of both the
