The Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection's Division of Scientific Services hosted approximately 200 high school and college students for a tour of the Forensic Laboratory.
Students were introduced to a digital mock short, created by the lab, called Murder on Music Mountain Road, followed by an interactive tour of a mock crime scene and the various sections of the lab that would analyst the evidence collected at the scene of the crime.

The Division of Scientific Services hosted Mr. Jame Tillman to honor him for being our keynote speaker for the 2024 National Forensic Science Week.

On Friday, September 13, 2024, the laboratory recognized National Forensic Science Week. Special thank you to our guest speakers, Senator Richard Blumenthal, Commissioner Ronnell Higgins and keynote speaker James C. Tillman.
