OnSeptember 21, 2004 Floyd W. ELLIS was reported missing to the police. On September 24th, 2004 ELLIS’ body was discovered in the Webatuck Creek in Sharon
State Police Detectives from the State Police Western District Major Crime Unit are continuing with this complex homicide investigation which included the interview of more than 100 individuals in connection with the homicide. These detectives are seeking additional information and cooperation of witnesses and persons with knowledge of this incident and/or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The $50,000 reward was authorized by Governor M. Jodi Rell at the request of the State’s Attorney Office. $50,000 is the maximum reward allowed under state law.
