DEMHS Announces the Release of the FY 2019 Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP-S) Application Documents

Applications should be submitted to DEMHS by May 15, 2019

The Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (DEMHS) is pleased to announce the opening of the 2019 application period for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP).

NSGP provides funding support for physical security enhancements and other security activities to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of a potential terrorist attack.  This year the program includes $10 million dollars in nation-wide competitive funding for eligible Nonprofit Organizations located outside of designated urban areas (NSGP-S).

The State of Connecticut’s target allocation, per the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), is $200,000.  The guidance allows States to submit $300,000 in Non-profit applications (NSGP-S) over their target allocation.

2019 NSGP Application materials and program guidance can be accessed on the NSGP landing page by clicking here.
