What are the penalties for providing false information regarding testing and results?

When you submit test results either electronically through a designated online portal, a smartphone app, attached to an email, or via fax copy, you will need to attest that the information included in the test results report is true, to the best of your knowledge. You will also need to attest that you understand that the submission of false information to a covered state agency, the State of Connecticut or its agents or representatives as required by the Executive Orders is punishable pursuant to Sectio53a-157b of the Connecticut General Statutes by a fine of not more than $2,000 or imprisonment of not more than one year.
