1. What do you do?

I am a Customer Success Manager, part of BITS Agency Success team in service to the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) and the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO). In my role as a strategic IT partner, I play a crucial role to ensure agencies effectively use and derive value from IT products and services; and are leveraging technology for efficiency, innovation, and transformation.

2. Why do you work for the State of Connecticut?

I have worked in various capacities in the private sector, but working for the State of Connecticut gives me an opportunity to work with various agencies that are making a difference in the lives of the residents of our great state.

3. What is your favorite part of your job?

Collaborating with agency leaders to align technology initiatives with their overall business goals, identifying areas for improvement, crafting a roadmap for digital transformation, and building long-term relationships.

4. What are some of your favorite activities outside of work?

Traveling and experiencing different cultures and cuisines. 

5. Where is your favorite place that you have traveled?

Salzburg, Austria. Salzburg is known for its music and culture. Salzburg is the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

6. What would you tell someone who is interested in working for the state?

Come join us. The State has a lot of great opportunities and it’s gratifying to serve CT residents and families to make a difference.

7. If you could choose one superpower, what would it be, and why?

If I could choose one superpower, it would be the ability to instantly acquire and comprehend any knowledge or skills. This power would allow me to continuously adapt, learn, and contribute effectively across a wide range of fields, fostering constant growth and understanding.

8. Where is your favorite place in Connecticut?

Old Saybrook. The town exudes historical charm with its well-preserved architecture, offering a glimpse into its rich past. It’s located along the scenic CT shoreline, providing residents and visitors with access to beautiful beaches and waterfront areas.

9. Who inspires you and why?

My mother, who today exhibits resilience in facing challenges and overcoming obstacles, shows strength and determination. Her valuable life lessons, guidance, and wisdom have helped me shape my character and navigate life.

10. Tell us your favorite fun fact.

I share my birthday with Lionel Messi, the Argentine professional soccer player widely regarded as one of the greatest in the history of the sport.
