Connecticut’s five business-led regional workforce boards deliver demand-driven workforce development, prepare workers for job openings, and provide access to training and employment opportunities to meet the needs of businesses. The workforce boards oversee a statewide network of 19 American Job Centers (AJCs) that deliver free employment and training services through 1-on-1 career center counseling, job training, and employment placements.
