2019 Aquatic Plant Survey Map of Private Pond, Rocky Hill
CAES IAPP performed an aquatic plant survey on a private, 0.01-acre waterbody in Rocky Hill. Three plant species were found: western waterweed (Elodea nuttallii), white water lily (Nymphaea odorata) and yellow flag iris (Iris pseudacorus). Yellow flag iris is considered an invasive wetland plant by CT DEEP. Three plant species is low, but to be expected from a small, shallow pond.
