Step 2: Watch the video

People with low vision have options for reading your website. If they don’t need a screen reader, they may use software or hardware to magnify the screen display, or they may simply zoom in.

You can help users who use their browser’s assistive features by creating web pages that allow users to read your content when they zoom in or adjust font sizes.

Step 3: Practice your new skill

Basic tests

  • Zoom in to 200% or increase font size and verify that:
    • All text increases in size
    • Components do not overlap
    • Content is not lost

Advanced test

Right-click on the page in your browser and use the Inspect tool to review the code. Search for 'max-zoom' and 'scale'. There should be no max zoom or limits on scale.
