State Police Computer Crimes Detectives Make Arrest
On June 29, 2016 the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit received a request for assistance

from the Burlington County, New Jersey Prosecutor's Office - High Tech Crimes Bureau, which is a member of the New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

On June 16, 2016 the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office and the Florence Township, NJ Police Department began investigating a complaint that an individual residing in Connecticut was talking in a sexually explicit manner with a 13 year old juvenile female residing in New Jersey. The individual residing in Connecticut was identified as Bryan White, a registered sex offender.

In addition to talking in a sexually explicit manner, White also asked the juvenile female if she would

travel to Connecticut to engage in sexual intercourse with him.

An investigator from the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office - High Tech Crimes Bureau continued the investigation. White believed that the juvenile female was going to travel from NJ to CT, via bus to

the Greyhound bus station in New London, Ct., on July 5, 2016 to engage in sexual intercourse with him.

On July 5, 2016 detectives from the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit, and the New London Police Department conducted surveillance on the Greyhound bus station. White was observed at the bus station waiting outside the terminal where the buses arrive at the time he thought the juvenile female was going to arrive.

Bryan White was taken into custody and transported to Troop E- Montville where he was fingerprinted, photographed and held on bond pending his court date.
