Violent Street Gang Members Arrested In Fairfield County

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE June 29, 2011

On 06/29/2011 at 4 AM, Search and Arrest Warrants were executed throughout

the East Side of Bridgeport. Additional Arrest Warrants were executed in Stratford. As of

a result of this cooperative investigation with the Connecticut State Police, Bridgeport

Police and Stratford Police there were a total of Eight (8) Search Warrants executed

(Seven for Residence’s and one for a vehicle). Twenty-Nine (29) People were arrested on

Arrest Warrants with three (3) additional on-site arrests for subjects found with Narcotics

when the Warrant‘s were executed. There was one (1) loaded handgun seized from a

Subject during the operation. (One of the arrested subjects was a 16 year old juvenile)

Seized as a result of today’s operation was the loaded handgun, 44 bullets,

3 ounces (90 Grams) of Crack Cocaine, 104 baggies of heroin, 8.8 Grams of Marihuana,

$7,847.00 in cash, Drug Packaging and Paraphernalia.

The Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF) also assisted in this

Operation relative to Endangered Children in Drug environments. There were a total of

Thirteen (13) children found in residence’s where parents were arrested on warrants. Four

(4) children were removed from the homes and placed with immediate Family members

Outside of the homes (Grandparents in each case)
