Statewide Narcotics Task Force Operation

The State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force in having conducted extensive narcotics investigations in New Haven executed several search and seizure warrants working with the New Haven Police Department.   These narcotics search warrants were executed throughout the city beginning in the early morning pre-dawn hours.  State Police SNTF conducted four search warrants and made another on-site arrest in the operation. #1    06/02/2011

State Police Narcotics Detectives executed a narcotics related search warrant at 543 Dixwell Avenue in New Haven after an investigation revealed “crack” cocaine was being sold from the home. Upon execution six individuals were located in the home. The search revealed approximately 10.8 grams of “crack” cocaine in 72 individually packed bags, drug paraphernalia and cash. Arrested and charged with numerous narcotics violations were: Norman Dorsey (DOB: 07/20/85), Alphonzo Howard (DOB: 06/05/76), Ebony Willis (DOB: 09/20/92) & Nicole Rudolph (DOB: 08/29/92). Willis also had an outstanding warrant at Waterbury PD. Three children live in the home, but were not present. A DCF referral was made for the three children.

State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force Detectives executed a narcotics related search warrant at 265 James Street 1st Floor in New Haven after an investigation revealed “crack” cocaine was being sold from the home. Upon execution two adults and two children were located in the home. The search revealed approximately 9.6 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cash. Arrested and charged with numerous narcotics violations was Carlos Berrios (DOB: 05/28/80) of this address.  The mother was not charged and the two children were referred to the DCF DEC program. DCF responded to the scene and returned to their mother’s care.

State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force Detectives executed a narcotics related search warrant at 70 Chapel Street 2nd Floor in New Haven after an investigation revealed marijuana was being sold from the home. Upon execution two adults and one child were located in the home. The search revealed no narcotics or illegal evidence. The home was in deplorable condition and the 2 year old child was filthy. DCF responded and removed the child under the DCF DEC program. No arrests were made at this time.

State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force Detectives conducted surveillance on a target who sold “crack” cocaine and prescription pills from his apartment at 358 Orange Street #808 in New Haven. Detectives obtained a search warrant for this apartment. SNTF Detectives observed the supplier arrive, pick up the target and drive around the block. The suspect vehicle was boxed in and two subjects were taken into custody. Narcotics Detectives located Marijuana, “crack” cocaine and cash on the supplier, the target and in the vehicle. The search warrant was then executed at the apartment. Detectives located and seized prescription pills. Arrested was Arthur Brantley (DOB: 03/17/75) of 11 Parmalee Avenue, New Haven and Stephen Alston (DOB: 10/08/62) of 358 Orange Street #808, New Haven. Both were charged with numerous narcotics related violations and Brantley was also charged with multiple motor vehicle violations and interfering with police.

Seized in this operation was approximately 10.3 grams of “crack” cocaine in 72 individually packaged bags, 94.4 grams of marijuana in 64 individually packaged bags, 123 assorted prescription pills and $397 in cash.
