STATE POLICE STATEWIDE NARCOTICS TASK FORCE

AND LOCAL POLICE CONDUCT NARCOTICS RAIDS

The Connecticut State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force, working with Plymouth and Bristol Police, developed information in May of 2011 that a male known by a street name was selling crack cocaine out of 123 Greene Street Bristol.  Narcotics undercover investigators made numerous undercover controlled buys over the last few months. Narcotics Detectives identified the male suspect and determined that his relatives provided him with a supply of cocaine to manufacture into crack cocaine.

Detectives established that the suspects in this case were utilizing a 2003 Cadillac Deville to deliver the cocaine to customers and they would store their cocaine supply and proceeds from narcotics sales within several different residences.  These residences are occupied by members of the suspect’s family.

Detectives determined that this criminal enterprise is responsible for distributing narcotics to mid-level dealers in some public housing projects in the City of Bristol.  These narcotics are then being further disseminated to street level users and dealers in and around the city of Bristol.

After conducting extensive narcotics investigation work in this case, SNTF Detectives submitted several search and seizure warrants to Superior Court to search five separate locations, including two residences in Plymouth and two residences in Bristol and a storage garage. Locations searched include: 123 Greene Street Bristol; 7 Sandra Avenue, Plymouth;  24 Beach Avenue, Plymouth; and 200 Blakeslee Street, Bldg. 11, Unit 198, Bristol.

Additionally, SNTF Narcotics Detectives submitted several arrest warrants for specific accused in this narcotics investigation. Superior Court issued the arrest warrants for the individuals to be charged in this case.
