State Police Make Additional Arrest In Gambling Investigation

Today 01/20/11 at approximately 10:30 a.m. the accused, PAUL GRAZIANO, DOB 01/21/1967 of Burlington, CT. surrendered himself to the Connecticut State Police at Troop-L in Litchfield. Graziano was taken into custody by Troopers, he was processed and formally charged with numerous crimes and was released on $200,000 bond.  He will appear in Superior Court GA#17, Bristol, CT. on January 31, 2011.

This most recent arrest is a component of an ongoing Illegal Sports Betting Investigation that was initiated by the Connecticut State Police in November of 2009. The investigation has been a combined and cooperative effort of Connecticut State Police (SOCITF), IRS New Haven, FBI New Haven, Bristol Police and the Office of the Chief State's Attorney in Rocky Hill CT.

This investigation into illegal gambling is an ongoing effort where additional arrests are anticipated. To date a total of 15 Arrest Warrants have been issued and numerous items of value have been seized including a 2009 Ferrari Coup, a Mercedes Benz SUV, a Volkswagen Touareg SUV, a BMW Motor Cross Motorcycle, a firearms collection, cash and jewelry.

The accused will appear for arraignment in Court to be held at GA#17, Bristol, on January 31, 2011.

This arrest is associated with an ongoing illegal gambling investigation that was initiated in November of 2009. As this investigation progresses additional arrests are anticipated.
