NARCOTICS INVESIGATION
RESULTS IN ARREST & SEIZURE

        On March 3, 2011, the Connecticut State Police Statewide Narcotic Task Force after a lengthy investigation executed a narcotic related search warrant at 29 Ledgewood Road, Ledyard, CT. This investigation involved several controlled purchases of heroin from the below listed accused who were identified as working in concert with each other. Arrest warrants were issued by the New London Superior Court as a result of this investigation. Troopers from Troop E, Montville, Troop D, Danielson, the Ledyard Resident Trooper’s Office and the Stonington Police Department all assisted with this operation.

        The Statewide Narcotic Task Force – East Field Office is comprised of members from the State Police, the New London, Groton Town, Groton City, Putnam and Willimantic Police Departments

Seized:  1500 individual bags of heroin (435 grams) packaged for sale

            15 grams of marijuana

            An assorted amount of restricted pills

            An amount of US Currency

            Items of drug paraphernalia consisting of digital scales & packaging material

            The street value of the heroin seized is estimated at approx. $18,000.00.
