Investigation Results In Arrest

On August 10, 2010 the CT State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force - South Central Field Office concluded an investigation with the execution of a Search & Seizure Warrant at a residence located on 24 Earl Street in New Haven, CT.

The Search Warrant was applied for after an extensive criminal investigation revealed that marijuana was being cultivated in and around the residence. Upon execution of the Search Warrant, Narcotics Detectives discovered that the basement had been converted into an indoor growing area for marijuana. The investigation resulted in the seizure of 42 marijuana plants, 408.2 grams of loose marijuana, 3 firearms, numerous growing lamps, ballasts and other equipment used in the cultivation of marijuana.

The homeowner was arrested on scene. The Statewide Narcotics Task Force is comprised of State Police Detectives, and Officers from New Haven, Orange, Woodbridge, and Cheshire.
