STATE POLICE MAKE ARRESTS IN MARIJUANA GROW OPERATION
After an extensive narcotics undercover investigation, the State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force applied for and obtained a search and seizure warrant from Superior Court to search a private residence located at 1901 Storrs Road in Mansfield, CT.
On March 11, 2010, the Statewide Narcotic Task Force, assisted by the Mansfield Resident State Troopers Office & State Troopers from Troop C in Tolland, executed a search warrant at 1901 Storrs Road, Mansfield, CT.
This search warrant resulted in narcotics investigators locating a large scale marijuana cultivation operation and a hallucinogen psilocin mushroom lab within the residence.
Narcotics Detectives seized approximately 30 marijuana plants at various stages of cultivation, an amount of cultivated marijuana, hundreds of hallucinogenic mushroom spores, an amount of hallucinogenic mushrooms, numerous chemical components and materials utilized in the cultivation process of marijuana and hallucinogenic mushrooms.
The suspects were taken into custody and transported to Troop C where they were processed and held on bond to appear in Superior Court.
