State Police Detectives Make Arrest in Canterbury Armed Robbery

On May 30, 2010 at approximately 11:55 pm, Troopers from Troop D responded to an armed robbery at the Cumberland Farms convenience store, 188 Westminster Rd. in Canterbury.  Troopers learned that a masked, white male, suspect entered the store armed with a pistol.  The suspect demanded money from the clerk then fled the area on foot. 

State Police Detectives from the Eastern District Major Crime Squad assumed the investigation and processed the scene.  Through the course of the investigation detectives gathered facts and circumstances in this case which led them to submit arrest warrant applications to the Danielson Superior Court.

On June 9, 2010 at approximately 9:08 am, detectives arrested Dean Craven for committing the armed robbery.

On August 12, 2010 at approximately 1:20 pm, detectives arrested Diann M. Cerpovicz.
