On 11-12-2009 at about 8:20 am State Police at Troop E received a report of a car fire on Montville Road and the intersection of Leffingwell Road in the town of Montville.  Montville Police department and State Police personnel and local fire departments responded to the scene and located the vehicle, which was fully engulfed.  Investigation revealed that the vehicle was last registered to a residence on Cook Hill Road in Griswold, and Troopers were dispatched to this location to check with the homeowner about the vehicle.
