STATE POLICE SEEK SUSPECT

IN HOME INVASION/STABBING

     Connecticut State Police have issued an alert to all surrounding police agencies for a suspect in a stabbing that occurred this morning at a home invasion in Ledyard.

    

     The assault was reported to State Police on 01/28/09 at 5:20 this morning at a residence located at 189 Ephraim's Path in Ledyard.

    

     Upon arrival State Police determined that two people were involved in a violent assault with the accused, and one person did suffer a minor stabbing injury.

     After conducting a criminal investigation into the incident State Police Detectives submitted an arrest warrant application to Superior Court for the arrest of the accused. The warrant has been issued for the accused by the court.

Wanted by State Police is -  DAHLQUIST, Deacan  age 23 

He is described as a 23-year-old black male, 6 feet, 185 lbs, brown eyes, black hair, wearing a dark grey hoodie, black coat and black jeans. His date of birth is 06/10/84.

The suspect is believed to be armed and in the New London area.

DAHLQUIST is wanted by State Police for the following charges:

Strangulation 1st Degree

Home Invasion

Burglary 1st

Criminal Attempt Assault 1st

Assault 2nd

Risk of Injury (2 counts)

Violation of Protective Order

Threatening

Dalhquist is believed to be in New London area and known to carry firearms. Anyone who now the location of this suspect is asked to contact State Police at 860-848-6500all calls will be kept confidential or
