               STATE POLICE MAKES COMPUTER CRIMES ARREST

Today 12/10/09, the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit executed a search and seizure warrant at a private home located on12 Vista Drive in Shelton, CT, and also at that time did  arrest the accused in this case after he had been conversing with what he perceived to be an underage girl on the Internet.

The State Police criminal investigation stemmed from a situation where the accused had met what he perceived to be a 14 year old girl from Connecticut in an online chat room when he was actually chatting with an undercover trooper.   During the online chats, the accused discussed sexually graphic acts with the 14 year old girl. Also during the chats, the subject performed inappropriate sexual acts on a web cam for what he perceived to be a 14 year old female.  The subject also spoke about traveling to meet the girl where he wanted to engage in sex with her.

Today 12/10/09, the subject was taken into custody at his residence on an arrest warrant that was issued by Superior court. The accused was transported to State Police Troop I in Bethany. where he was processed and was released on a $75,000 court set bond.  The accused will appear in   Derby Superior Court GA #5 on December 22, 2009.
