STATE POLICE MAKE ARRESTS, DRUG SEIZURE IN INTERSTATE DRUG TRAFFICKING INVESTIGATION

On July 08, 2009, the Statewide Narcotic Task Force - East Field Office assisted by the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force executed a narcotic related search warrant at 45 Jerzeskia Street, Thompson, CT. Prior investigation indicated that accused Benjamin Davidson was involved in the interstate trafficking of large quantities of marijuana into Connecticut. Seized was: 50 pounds Marijuana, $25,114.00 US Currency, numerous items of drug paraphernalia consisting of scales, money counter, packaging material, drug notes & a laptop computer. The marijuana seized has a street value of approx. 75,000.00 dollars. Investigation to continue.
