                    STATE POLICE MAKE BANK ROBBERY ARREST

    On December 4th, 2008, State Police Troop- L Litchfield troopers responded to a bank robbery at the National Iron Bank, located at 6 Bee Brook Road (Rt 47/109), Washington Depot.  A lone male dressed in dark clothing, mask, and hat, entered the bank armed with a handgun, and demanded cash; the subject fled the bank with undisclosed amount of money.

   State Police Detectives developed information and leads in this investigation that led Detectives to recover a significant amount of the currency stolen during this robbery. In addition the identity of the suspect was made by Detectives. An arrest warrant application for the accused was submitted to Superior Court by State Police Detectives. The warrant was issued by the court for the arrest of the accused.

    The accused is presently being held by the Department of Corrections on unrelated charges.

The accused was transported to Superior Court where he was formally arrested by State Police.  

ARRESTED:   Fox, Bram, age 29, DOB: 07-25-1979

CHARGES:     Robbery 1st (53a-134)

                    Larceny 1st (53a-119)

   The accused will be presented today in Superior Court GA #18 Bantam to answer these charges.
