On 09-17-08 Detectives from the Eastern District Major Crime Squad at Troop K initiated an investigation in response to a DCF Hotline referral. In that DCF referral, a teenage female accused her high school teacher of engaging her in inappropriate sexually-based interactions on-line.

   State Police Detectives conducted an investigation, assisted in this case by the State Police Computer Crimes Unit.  As a result of evidence and information discovered during this investigation, State Police Detectives obtained an arrest warrant from Superior Court for the arrest of the accused.

   On 9/22/08, in the afternoon, the accused surrendered himself to State Police Detectives at the Troop K barracks in Colchester where he was processed and released on a $25,000 bond to appear in Superior Court GA #19 on 10/07/08.
