STATE POLICE MAKE ARREST IN BURGLARIES
AT TOWN HALL, CHURCH IN WILLINGTON

The Connecticut State Police arrested an incarcerated Massachusetts man in connection with burglaries from last year at the town hall and a church in Willington.

State Police Detectives from the Eastern District Major Crime Squad arrested David Heck, formerly of 14 Lozier Ave, Westfield, Massachusetts, and currently incarcerated in Connecticut by the Department of Corrections.

Detectives conducted investigations following the August 14, 2007, burglaries of the Willington Town Hall and the Willington Federated Church. As a result of evidence and information gained through their investigation, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for the arrest of the accused.

Accused:  David Heck DOB 11-24-1974

Charges:  Third degree burglary, two counts

    First degree larceny

    Third degree criminal mischief

    Sixth degree larceny

Heck appeared in Rockville Court, GA-19, this morning on the charges. His bond was set at $75,000.
