Connecticut State Police Canine Unit
to Graduate 5 new K-9 Teams - Accelerant (Arson)
    On Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at 10:00 the Connecticut State Police Canine Unit will formerly graduate five new K-9 teams to be deployed to the field, marking the successful completion of an 11 week training program for both K-9's and handlers.
    These K-9 teams will be used at the scenes of fires and/or explosions as part of an effort to determine if the incident was an intention act of arson. The handlers from the graduating class are State Police Detectives assigned to the State Fire Marshal Offices for the State of Connecticut and the State of Massachusetts.
