STATE POLICE MAKE

SEXUAL ASSAULT ARREST 

On 11/04/2005 Connecticut State Police Detectives initiated a criminal investigation into a Sexual Assault involving three minor boys in Danielson.  After an extensive investigation Detectives submitted an arrest warrant application to  the Superior Court Judicial District of Windham. For the arrest of the accused in this case. The warrant was issued by the court.

Today 01/17/08 State Police Detectives located the accused at his residence in Portland and placed him under arrest. The accused was transported to State Police Troop-D where he was processed and held on a $250,000 court set bond. The accused will be arraigned in Superior Court GA #11 on the below stated charges on 01/18/08

ARRESTED: Robert Schleich DOB: 10-08-1970

          47 Fairview Ave Portland, Ct.

CHARGES:    Sexual Assault 1st Degree (2 counts)

            Sexual Assault 4th Degree (2 counts)

            Risk of Injury to a Child (2 counts).
