STATE POLICE INVESTIGATE MISSING PERSON -BOZRAH CT
**MISSING PERSON LOCATED**
       Ms. Sheila Dorman was reported as missing to the State Police on 12/24/08 at approximately 5:30 p.m., after a family member learned that Dorman reportedly walked away from her residential care facility in the Town of Bozrah on 12/24/08 at approximately 3:30 p.m., and had not returned.
                                             
      State Police were notified and an investigation revealed that Dorman left the residential care facility and walked a short distance where it is believed that she left the area as a passenger in a motor vehicle.
     During the course of this ongoing investigation Troopers learned from a witness, who knew of this missing person’s investigation from local news reports, that Ms. Dorman was seen at the New Haven Train Station since being reported as missing.
     Troopers working with Amtrak Police and officials at the New Haven Train Station validated this information. Troopers learned that it was apparent that Ms. Dorman had boarded a train to travel to Nebraska. Connecticut State Troopers working with Amtrak police officials and Chicago Police were able today to locate Ms. Dorman in Chicago. She was located in good condition but was taken to a Chicago hospital for evaluation.
     Ms. Dorman’s’ family was notified of the success in this investigation and family members will make arrangements with the officials from the Chicago to return her home.
    State Police Officials commend the media and the public for the success in this case. The State Police portion of this case is closed.

Ms. Dorman is described as a  approximately 5’5”/125 lbs. with thin build, brown hair and brown eyes. She walks with the aid of a walker and has a pacemaker/defibrillator. She was last seen wearing a black coat and blue jeans.
