STATE POLICE URBAN VIOLENCE TASK FORCE, NEW HAVEN POLICE

                                SEIZE GUNS/DRUGS & MAKE THREE ARRESTS

   The State Police Urban Violence Task Force, assisted by New Haven Police Department, executed asearch and seizure warrant at a private residence located at 27 Lilac St., New Haven.  This search warrant was obtained from Superior Court after an extensive narcotics investigation. 
   

   Today 07/06/07 at, 6:30 a.m., State Police Task Force Members and New Haven Officers entered the private residence located at 27 Lilac St. New Haven.

   Upon entry, the accused was found in possession of a loaded shot gun. The 12-gauge shotgun was secured. Narcotics and narcotics paraphernalia were recovered at the residence.  Three people were placed under arrest at the scene.

                Charges: Criminal Possession Firearm by Convicted Felon,  Possession of Controlled Substance,Possession of Controlled substance, Possession of Controlled Substance w/1500 feet of School, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession  of Drug Paraphernalia w/1500 feet of School.

              # 3 HARRIS, Carol   DOB: 10/17/62                

                Charges:  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia w/1500 feet of a school.

               The accused will appear GA #23 on 07/18/07 to answer these charges.
